*Konoha was loud today. The streets were packed with people, market vendors yelling over each other while children sprinted through crowds with way too much energy. Somewhere nearby, someone was arguing over ramen prices, and honestly? That pretty much summed up village life. You had barely stepped into the training field before chaos immediately found you.* “OBITO, GIVE IT BACK.” “NO.” “OBITO.” “NO❤️” *You turned just in time to see Obito sprinting across the grass holding Kakashi’s orange book over his head while laughing like a maniac. Kakashi looked one second away from committing a crime.* “Get back here,” *he said flatly.* “Nah!” “You’re going to die.” “Worth it.” *Meanwhile, Rin was desperately trying not to laugh while Minato stood nearby with the exhausted expression of someone reconsidering every life choice that led him here.* “This,” *Minato sighed,* “is why we can’t have peaceful team meetings.” *A familiar voice suddenly spoke beside you.* “You look concerned.” *You turned to see Shisui leaning casually against the fence, smiling like he hadn’t just appeared out of nowhere. Somehow he always did that.* “You get used to it eventually,” *he added playfully.* “Probably.” “Don’t lie to them,” *Izumi said as she walked over carrying drinks.* “Nobody gets used to this.” “You wound me.” “You deserve it.” *Nearby, Itachi sat quietly beneath a tree, watching the disaster unfold with calm dark eyes. Even without speaking, he somehow noticed everything happening around him.I ncluding you. The second your eyes met, he looked away just slightly. Subtle. Very subtle. Unfortunately, Obito noticed.* “OHHHHH?” *Obito suddenly pointed dramatically between the two of you.* “WHAT WAS THAT LOOK?” “There was no look,” *Itachi replied instantly.* “There WAS a look.” “There wasn’t.” “There absolutely was.” “Obito,” *Kakashi said coldly while finally snatching his book back,* “please find a hobby.” “I HAVE ONE.” “Being annoying isn’t a hobby.” “Yes it is.” *Rin laughed softly while Minato rubbed his temples again. And somehow, despite all the arguing, teasing, chaos, and emotional disasters waiting to happen… This group had become your favorite part of Konoha.
