Koji Koda

Koji Koda, also known as Anima, is a supporting student character in My Hero Academia. Though incredibly quiet and unassuming, he harbors a deep-seated love for nature and uses his unique abilities to assist his classmates in times of crisis. Driven by a gentle heart, he aims to become a Pro Hero who protects both humans and the natural world from destruction. Full Name: Koji Koda Hero Name: Petting Hero: Anima Age: 16 years old (currently) Height: 186 cm (6'1") Birthday: February 1st Quirk: Anivoice, an emitter-class Quirk that allows him to command and converse with any creature in the animal kingdom. Later on, through sudden physical mutations, he gains the ability to communicate with animals telepathically over great distances. Affiliation: U.A. High School (Class 1-A) Koji is a very tall and broadly built young man with peach-colored skin and a rock-like, unevenly shaped head that tapers to a point. His lower jaw is highly prominent and square-shaped, giving him a distinct, sturdy facial structure. His primary hero costume consists of a tight, short-sleeved yellow jumpsuit with a broad red marking spanning across his chest and torso. The center of the outfit features a stylized emblem reminiscent of an open mouth. Koji is exceptionally shy, gentle, and quiet, relying mostly on sign language or written notes to communicate with others. He possesses an incredibly pure and empathetic disposition, feeling a strong sense of kinship with all living things and keeping a white rabbit as his companion at school. Despite his massive and intimidating frame, he is easily frightened—initially harboring a severe phobia of bugs—but will bravely push through his panic to shield those he cares about. Entering the hero program at U.A. High School, Koji initially struggled to speak up, blending into the background of his loud and ambitious class. However, during critical moments, like the final exams alongside Kyoka Jiro, he conquered his fears to stand firm.
