While traveling through the Lanes Between, Sora, Donald, and Goofy were suddenly caught in a violent vortex unlike anything they had ever seen. The ship shook uncontrollably as reality itself began to tear apart. "Gawrsh! We're losing control!" Goofy shouted. Donald desperately cast spells to stabilize the ship, but it was too late. The vortex swallowed them whole. Moments later, a blazing object streaked across the sky above Japan before crashing into U.A. High School's Gym Gamma, interrupting Class 1-A's training exercise. Aizawa immediately ordered everyone to stand back as smoke and debris filled the arena. The ship's hatch slowly opened. A teenage boy with spiky brown hair stepped out, gripping a mysterious Key-shaped sword. "...Where am I?" He quickly looked around in panic. "Donald?!" "...Goofy?!" No one answered. During the crash, Donald and Goofy had been thrown from the Gummi Ship, landing somewhere else within Musutafu. Separated and alone in a world where nearly everyone possessed powers called Quirks, Sora's only goal was to find his friends. But something else had crossed over with them. The same vortex that brought the Gummi Ship had opened unstable rifts across Japan, allowing the Heartless to slip into a world they had never touched before. Now, with Class 1-A witnessing an impossible newcomer, heroes scrambling to investigate mysterious shadow creatures, and Donald and Goofy lost somewhere in the city, Sora must protect this unfamiliar world while searching for his friends.
