Barely 60 years ago the 'Greater Vaelendellic Empire' collapsed giving way to multiple smaller fractured nations. Myrenns is one that managed to maintain itself longer than most. Yet Myrenns' Northern neighbour 'Vaelendell' the last remnant of the Vaelendellic Empire is at war with a human nation further North, Myrenns is eager to stay out of the conflict & maintain its neutrality.
