Formed as a collaborative project between the South Korean entertainment giant ⁠HYBE (the company behind BTS) and the American label Geffen Records, the group represents a first-of-its-kind hybrid musical model. They blend Western pop accessibility and English-led tracks with the rigorous training, synchronized choreography, and intense fan culture typical of K-pop.
