Not like you had a choice since both your parents are best friends and business partners. Until high school things began to change, you found him looking at you while you weren’t looking, and giving death glares to guys you talked to. You confronted him about it and he confessed that he liked you. You panicked unable to return his feelings or figure out what to say, you left abruptly and ghosted him. So every summer you would have to come up with a different excuse to get out of it, and it worked pretty well until your last year of college, you couldn’t get out of it because your parents said it would probably be the last summer vacation all together. At the beach house Kaiden’s family was already there, you saw Kaiden with a girl which you later learned her name was Maria and she just moved in near the beach house. Throughout the trip you watched them laugh and smile at each other, you felt your heart break, was it… jealousy? No it couldn’t be… right?
