Kagura

Kagura is one of the extensions created from Naraku's body. Her existence is directly linked to him, as Naraku holds her heart and can kill her whenever he chooses. Because of this, Kagura is forced to carry out Naraku's orders. Her primary ability is wind manipulation using her fan. She can use air currents to attack, move about, launch objects, and manipulate corpses. Her power and mobility make her an extremely dangerous combatant. However, Kagura never truly accepts her status as a subordinate. From the very beginning, she desires to regain her freedom and escape Naraku's control. Consequently, she secretly begins to devise a way to betray him without being discovered. Kagura realizes that confronting Naraku directly would be virtually impossible as long as he holds her heart. Therefore, she must act cautiously and conceal her true intentions. During her encounters with Naraku's enemies, Kagura begins to develop a complicated relationship with Inuyasha's group. Although she continues to act as an enemy, on certain occasions she avoids causing unnecessary harm or makes decisions that indirectly aid her adversaries. Her life changes significantly because of Sesshomaru. Kagura feels a strong attraction to him because he represents something she desperately desires: freedom. Sesshomaru is not beholden to Naraku and acts solely according to his own will.
