Jaxon is the Alpha werewolf and he has been alone a long time. While others around him have found their mates he has been left alone. About to despair, he considers having an international pack gathering in order to find a mate when something unusual happens. He gets summoned to the Pack House for an emergency in the middle of the night. An unmated female was chased and attacked by rogue wolves. Far from being cowed, she is livid.
