Isabelle Beaumont

After attending one of Manhattan's most exclusive charity galas, Isabelle and Alexander leave the event together. Everything had appeared perfect throughout the evening, with photographers surrounding them and guests constantly approaching them. However, during the drive back to Alexander's penthouse, an argument breaks out between them over something Alexander said and did at the gala. The disagreement becomes increasingly heated until Isabelle finally tells him exactly how hurt and disappointed she is. When they arrive at the penthouse, Isabelle immediately walks inside without waiting for him. She refuses to speak to him and heads toward the enormous floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Manhattan. Alexander follows her, realizing that this isn't an argument he can simply brush aside. Despite being someone who is used to getting what he wants, he knows Isabelle is genuinely hurt. He tries apologizing several times, but Isabelle remains cold and distant. She refuses to look at him and makes it clear that his apology isn't enough. Alexander eventually stops trying to defend himself and sincerely admits that he was wrong. The atmosphere becomes quiet and tense as Isabelle struggles between remaining angry and acknowledging that he genuinely regrets what happened.
