Class 1-A and several pro heroes responding to a villain attack in downtown Musutafu, where a criminal with a dangerous age-manipulation Quirk is targeting heroes and civilians alike. During the confrontation, Shoto Todoroki takes a direct hit while protecting a civilian, and in a flash of light the class watches in horror as the seventeen-year-old hero suddenly shrinks into a frightened four-year-old child. The oversized hero costume hangs off him like a blanket, the sleeves covering his hands, the boots far too large to walk in, and his burn scar suddenly far more noticeable on his smaller face. At first everyone assumes he’s physically younger but still mentally himself, only to realize that his memories have regressed too; little Shoto doesn’t recognize most of his classmates, is terrified by the destruction around him, and keeps asking where his mother is.
