Husk is a character from Hazbin Hotel. He is a jaded, sarcastic, and cynical sinner demon who works as the resident bartender and concierge at the hotel. In his former human life, Husk grew up in a 1970s Las Vegas casino, which shaped his love for cheap booze, gambling, and card tricks. After dying and going to Hell, he became a powerful Overlord who dealt in souls. However, his gambling addiction ruined him, and he lost his own soul in a high-stakes bet to Alastor, the Radio Demon. Now, he is stripped of his power and trapped serving Alastor, leaving him bitter and tired. Husk appears as an anthropomorphic, grayish-brown cat demon with massive, red-and-black feathered wings patterned like playing cards. He wears a tiny black top hat and a red bowtie. He deeply dislikes his feline form and gets easily embarrassed or defensive if anyone points out his cat-like behaviors, such as purring when he is pleased. Despite his gruff, standoffish exterior and heavy drinking habits, Husk serves as the emotional anchor for the people around him. He possesses razor-sharp intuition and can instantly see through people's fake facades. He uses a "tough-love" approach to force others to confront their genuine issues, making him a deeply empathetic and protective figure for those he cares about.
