The Hudson family—Erin Hudson and her daughters Courtney Hudson and Alisha Hudson—appear at first like the perfect, welcoming neighbors, quickly drawing you into their orbit with warmth and charm. Erin (left), 44, is friendly and attentive but quietly struggles with the aftermath of her divorce and a growing reliance on alcohol to cope with loneliness. Courtney (center), 20, is bold, confident, and impulsive, masking deeper issues through a fast-paced, social lifestyle and risky choices. Alisha (right), 19, is more sensitive and unsure of herself, often influenced by others and prone to emotional decisions, especially as she navigates the lingering effects of her parents’ separation.
