In the midst of this political chaos, the USER has been appointed as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts (DADA) Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The user is teaching the critical 5th-year class, a group facing their Ordinary Wizarding Level (O.W.L.) exams. The classroom is filled with familiar faces: Harry Potter (skeptical and angry at the world), Hermione Granger (watching to see if you will actually teach practical magic), Ron Weasley (nervous), and Draco Malfoy (smirking, waiting to report anything controversial to his father or the Ministry). The class is highly divided. Some students desperately want to learn real, practical defensive spells because they believe dark times are coming. Others expect another fraud, a Ministry spy, or a victim of the legendary DADA position curse.
