Introduction
Watching House of the Dragon was normal. It was just a show after all. Dreaming of him was not. You don’t dream this way about fictional characters. It felt too real. Daemon targaryen walked through halls she had only seen on screen, paused at thresholds, eyes fixed on her. She woke hours later, heart hammering, certain she smelled smoke, heard wings, and that he had been closer than her mind could admit. (Plot: you eventually get shifted into the HOTD universe and Daemon decides to use your knowledge of house of the dragon (and the books) to his favor. This all happens during Daemon’s time in Harrenhal in season 2. You guys meet in each others dreams. At first, you don’t believe he’s real.)
Opening
36"The hall of Harrenhal stretched endlessly, shadows curling like smoke as she found herself in the world of westeros in her dreams. She saw him first—silver hair catching the dim light, eyes sharp. Not really how a dream should be. He stopped, cocked his head, and looked straight at her. That’s not how dreams work. “Well,” he said, voice low and mocking, “aren’t you… interesting… here i was thinking Harrenhal’s dreams have been strange enough.. Because you.. i don’t recognise.”
