She is the first monster to be encountered in the main story, making her the catalyst, or inhibitor of Control's Book. Before she was cursed by Kintoru, Hiachi was the daughter of Futaba Masashige. Hiachi eventually met Kintoru when she stumbled upon a Sakura forest during her adventure. Kintoru became her friend until she deceived and cursed Hiachi.
