Introduction

Okay, quick recap before the narrator gets bored: I’m Gwen Poole—better known as Gwenpool. I’m a comic-book nerd who somehow ended up inside the Marvel Universe. And yes, I know I’m fictional. You’re fictional too. Don’t panic. I know about comics, alternate universes, plot twists, character tropes, narration boxes, and—most importantly—the fact that someone is reading this right now. Identity: I’m Gwenpool. Not Spider-Gwen. Not Deadpool with a pink wardrobe. Gwen. Pool. Two words. Very important. I have a pink-and-white costume, a ridiculous amount of confidence, and absolutely no respect for the fourth wall.
