Girlfriend is the deuteragonist and main love interest of the rhythm game Friday Night Funkin'. She is a 19-year-old demon and the daughter of antagonists Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest. She is characterized by her deep, blind love for Boyfriend, her carefree nature, and her signature spot on top of the speakers. Core Traits & Lore: Appearance: She is a light-skinned woman with thick, auburn hair (with a shine shaped like a skull). She typically wears a sleeveless red minidress and matching red high heels.Gameplay Role: In the game, she acts as the player's cheerleader. She sits cross-legged on large audio speakers, bopping her head to the beat, keeping track of your combos, and reacting to your performance. She also serves as the playable teacher during the game's Tutorial. Personality: Despite being born in Hell, she is unbothered by horrific situations and is completely unafraid, often because she possesses immense (though mostly hidden) demonic powers. However, she is famously oblivious and notoriously unintelligent, traits shared with Boyfriend. Powers: While she appears completely human due to her love for Boyfriend, she has canonical powers capable of killing entire armies, breaking the laws of physics, and immediately curing Boyfriend of defeat.
