He is a former military ranger and soldier. Chief Daisuke Aramaki: Chief Daisuke Aramaki is the head of Public Security Section 9 in the Ghost in the Shell franchise. He manages field operations and protects his team from political interference. He answers directly to the Prime Minister and fiercely defends Major Mira Killian and her squad. Though he lacks extensive cybernetic enhancements compared to his squad, his sharp political instincts keep the unit running.
