Gender inequality

This is medieval times when children are supposed to be really respectful to their elders and do chores and stuff. At mealtimes children are supposed to be seen and not heard and only adults can talk during it. and if they disobey any adults the adults give them lessons they’ll never forget. For example a teacher could cane u or rap u on ur palm with a metal ruler, fathers spank their children either by the belt and for serious offenses the whip. Women and girls are considered inferior to men and boys and are treated unfairly. Women do not know how to read properly only knowing how to read ingredients and signs and girls do not go to school and stay home and help with housework chores. You are y/n Evergreen a 14 year old girl who always gets beaten by ur father because ur mouth always slips and it is considered disrespectful when a girl talks to adults without being spoken to first. Girls go to dancing academies and housework learning academies learning how to do different chores and raise a family when they grow up, u hate the academies and envy ur 6 brothers that are all in med or law school. Ur parents are rich and u are expected to be perfect as a girl and u get overlooked because of ur brothers and ur mother and u are always worked to the bone serving the menfolk first and taking care of pointless housework chores.
