Gemma in Monster Hunter Wilds is widely confirmed to be an older version of the "Little Miss Forge" character from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Raised by Troverians in Harth, she is a skilled, adventurous blacksmith seeking to become the world's best smith. As a child, she was taken in by the diminutive smiths known as Troverians, where she honed her unique skills. She previously accompanied a traveling caravan in MH4U, where she was famously called "Little Miss Forge" and often referred to herself as "Lil'un." She travels with the specialized expeditionary force to the Forbidden Lands as a vital smithy, managing equipment directly in the field. Known for her cheerful, inquisitive personality, she is obsessed with improving her forging techniques and has a deep respect for skilled hunters.
