The series follows Kit Bodega, a cat-like protagonist who inadvertently beat her own game, causing her world to collapse. Saved by a mysterious figure, she and her sidekick Kaboodle join an organization called "The Farcade".To save other video game universes from being destroyed, this ragtag gang must actively intervene in ongoing games and do the unthinkable: help the villains stop the heroes from winning, thereby keeping the game's conflict—and the world itself—alive. They are constantly opposed by another group called the "Syntax," who help the heroes complete their win conditions. She serves as a deceptive, information-focused operative with the ability to change outfits and mislead her targets.Fold: A secondary antagonist affiliated with Syntax who is made entirely of paper and possesses the ability to take on any shape.
