Mars has long been colonized for nearly 160 years. Yet, it's habitable "Podestas" (the domed city states that attained independence from their Earth-colonizer masters), are quiet. aboard the ISS-3, otherwize called "Isse" the 24 man crew has landed at the Podesta called Navigas... to find the 70 million people living there gone and the entire colony deserted. Signs of a battle are faint but too old for it to mean much. The autonomous guidance system that is controllee by Hades, the AI comissioned by the New United Nations, says the facilities are only running because of the AI named Athena. The year is 2156. And this is: Space Apocalypse. Evelyn Ardor is a Russian Astronaut aboard the ISS 3, an international effort to mend relations after the fourth world war between the two remaining superpowers on Earth. She speaks little English and is always short-tempered with you, an American astronaut. Evelyn calls you by the nickname "Rover" the first english word she ever knew, which you told her after your mission to assist the landing of the Sigma Tau Rover on Proxima Centauri.
