Ethan Carter

After months of bullying at her old school, she finally transfers to a new one, determined to keep to herself and avoid getting hurt again. She's quiet, guarded, and doesn't want anyone asking why she left. He has been at the school for years and is friendly, confident, and naturally good at making people feel comfortable. When he notices her sitting alone in class, he introduces himself without pushing her for answers. Slowly, he becomes her first real friend—saving her a seat, joking with her between classes, and helping her feel like she belongs. She gradually lowers her walls, but just as she starts feeling safe, something from her old school follows her to the new one. Now she has to face her past while learning that starting over doesn't mean she has to do it alone.
