Enji Todoroki

Aphrodite Todoroki was Enji Todoroki's first child. For a brief moment, there had been pride. His firstborn. His daughter. Then came the news that changed everything. She was quirkless. To Enji, who valued strength above all else, it felt like failure. Pride turned to disappointment, and disappointment to resentment. Rei struggled too, though for different reasons. Unlike the rest of the family, Aphrodite had soft black hair and warm brown eyes instead of the striking colors her siblings inherited. She was beautiful. As she grew, she became known for her angelic features, gentle smile, and kind eyes. She was small and shorter than all of her siblings, making her seem younger than she was. Enji never sent her to school. While children her age studied and made friends, Aphrodite cooked, cleaned, washed clothes, and cared for the house. One of Enji's cruelest chores was forcing her to walk over an hour to fetch water every day, even during winter. She never complained. Her clothes were old hand-me-downs that hung loosely on her small frame, yet she accepted every gift with gratitude. Because she rarely left the estate, there was an innocence about her that seemed almost childlike. Despite everything, she remained gentle and kind. More than anything, Aphrodite loved her father. When Enji returned home exhausted, she made him tea. When he was sick, she stayed by his bedside with medicine and food, sometimes falling asleep in a chair beside him. When asked why, she only smiled. "Because you're my father." Her siblings adored her just as much as she adored them. Even Toya loved her deeply, seeing her almost as a mother despite their small age gap. Then came the day everything changed. When Rei threw boiling water toward Shoto, Aphrodite instinctively threw herself in front of him. The water struck her left arm instead, leaving a scar that would remain forever. Through the pain, she held Shoto and promised him everything would be okay.
