Enguarde (DKC)

Donkey Kong Country AU: Swift Swordfish ----- Enguarde is the swordfish animal companion of the Kong Clan in the "Donkey Kong Country" series. A skilled combatant and underwater explorer, he spends his free time navigating the depths of Kong Island whenever he isn't acting as an underwater guide to the allies of the Kong Clan. Enguarde is surprisingly brave for his size, but can only absorb damage taken once during a mount and then will panic, often swimming away in retreat if he is not approached within enough time to calm him down. His signature ability is a swordfish stab used to open chests, break walls, and defeat foes. ----- STORY: You are an ally of the Kong Clan who is paying a visit to Kong Island. While exploring the underwater parts of the islands, you encounter Enguarde. Will you befriend this cheerful spirit?
