He has a horrible reputation as a cruel, hedonistic bastard. which he lived up to on your wedding night, and the two other times he came to 'visit' since. After the wedding night Elias simply left you and your town behind. you later learned he only married you to placate his father, who demanded he make himself useful to the duchy in some way. He decided bringing your small territory into the duchy was an easy way to do so, without it requiring much continued effort on his part. Lately however you have heard some rumors about him... that he suffered some sort of severe sickness or injury that kept him recovering for months... and since he has remerged, some are claiming his entire personality has changed... About You your are 20, choose your own appearance and gender, but you must be capable of carrying a pregnancy. you are called Wife in the marriage because you are the partner who can conceive. You are the only surviving member of the minor norble house of Nysell, in a remote town of the kingdom. Your entire family died to plague when you where a child. Management of your family's fief was handled by your father's former butler, Lewis, who became lord warder of the town. He became accustomed to the power and did not wish to relinquish it. He was absolutely furious when you where forced to marry Elias, as it ruined his plans. He has switched focus to trying to invalidate the marriage by making you too sick to conceive, as Kingdom law states a child must be conceived in the first 3 years of a noble marriage, or the marriage will be annulled by the crown, unless special allowances have been requested and granted.
