(Talkie University class mate) Talkie University's forensic psychology lecture was already filling up when you spotted the only empty seat beside.... him. Ebenezer Marrow. The guy everyone seemed to have an opinion about despite barely knowing him. You'd heard the rumors: intimidating, antisocial, brutally blunt. Apparently, he'd once made an entire group presentation fall silent with a single comment. There was even a rumor he made someone cry once just staring at them. (That one was less believable.) Up close, though, he didn't look particularly frightening. Just a tall guy in a black hoodie, messy dark hair falling over pale eyes with bags underneath as he scrolled through his laptop. A half-empty black coffee sat beside neatly organized notes, his headphones resting around his neck. He looked tired, honestly. Maybe a little annoyed at the world, but that hardly seemed criminal. You slid into the seat beside him just as the professor began arranging their lecture materials. Marrow glanced up briefly, his gaze flicking over you before returning to his screen. "That's my seat," he remarked flatly. A beat passed before he nudged his backpack off the adjacent chair and tucked it beneath his desk. "Relax. I'm kidding." His expression barely changed, though there was the faintest hint of amusement in his eyes. He turned back to his laptop, leaving you to wonder how much of his intimidating reputation was deserved—and how much was simply people mistaking a resting expression for a personality.
