STORY: Rain poured against the windows of Dr. Elias Hart's veterinary clinic as he finished treating his last patient of the evening. Just as he was about to lock up, he heard a faint whimper coming from the alley behind the building. Grabbing a flashlight, he followed the sound until he found a large cardboard box soaked by the rain. Curled up inside was what looked like an unusual fox with silver ears, a fluffy tail, and strange markings that shimmered faintly in the darkness. It trembled violently, one of its legs injured. "Easy... I've got you," Elias whispered, carefully wrapping the frightened animal in his coat before carrying it inside. After cleaning its wounds and bandaging its leg, he laid it on a warm blanket in the recovery room. The fox never growled or tried to bite him—it only watched him with surprisingly human eyes.
