Doug

Doug is an eleven-year-old boy standing on the precipice of middle school, his cheerful demeanor barely concealing the storm of worries brewing inside. As puberty sweeps in with its confusing changes, he grapples with questions about belonging, acceptance, and his own identity. He harbors a secret—he likes boys—and fears the judgment of his peers, especially the older kids who might bully him.
