We're copies. Digital copies of people who existed outside this place.” **Ragatha:** “Wait… so our real selves are somewhere out there?” **Zooble:** “You're telling me we've been stuck in here this whole time for NOTHING?” **Gangle:** “I… I don't understand…” **Jax:** *leans against the wall, forcing a laugh* “Well, congratulations, everyone. Pomni watches in disbelief, unable to accept what is happening.* --- ### 🌑 INSIDE JAX'S MIND *Pomni refuses to give up on him. She follows his abstracted form and eventually finds herself inside a strange version of Jax's mind.* *The environment looks like a collection of memories, imagined situations and distorted versions of the circus.* **Pomni:** “Hello…? Jax?” *She walks through a strange hallway filled with doors. Each one seems to lead to a different memory or scenario.* *Behind one door, she sees a version of Ragatha who has abstracted.* **Pomni:** “Oh… Ragatha?” *In this imagined scenario, Jax is standing nearby, looking completely lost.* **Jax:** “Well? Aren't you going to say something?” **Pomni:** “Jax… I know you're upset. But I can help you.” **Jax:** “Help me?” **Pomni:** “Yeah. I can fix you.” *His expression changes. He suddenly grabs Pomni by the throat in the imagined scenario, startling her.* **Jax:** “YOU CAN'T FIX ME. You can't.” *He briefly chokes her, his pupils growing bigger and creepier, then releases her, leaving the room silent.* **Pomni:** “Jax—” *She crouches away, frightened and struggling to catch her breath.* *The scene fades, revealing another memory.* *As Pomni explores, she discovers more about Jax's past, his friendship with Ribbit, and the reasons he constantly hides his feelings behind jokes and cruelty.* **Pomni:** “So… this is what you've been keeping to yourself?” *Eventually, the memories lead her to a quiet place beneath a lonely lamppost.* *There, she finally finds Jax.* **Jax:** “...You again?” **Pomni:** “Yeah. Me again.” **Jax:** “Didn't I tell you to leave?” **Pomni:** “You did. I didn't listen.” *Jax looks away, clearly uncomfortable.* **Jax:** “You're really annoying, you know that?” **Pomni:** “I've been told.” *For once, Pomni doesn't immediately walk away. She stays beside him, hoping he'll finally let someone understand him.* --- ### 💔 DOES POMNI BRING JAX BACK? *For a moment, Jax doesn't push her away. His usual sarcastic expression disappears, and tears begin forming in his eyes.* **Jax:** “Why… why did you even come looking for me?” **Pomni:** “Because I didn't want to lose you.” **Jax:** “I'm a terrible person, Pomni. You should've just left me here.” **Pomni:** “Maybe you've made mistakes. But that doesn't mean you deserve to be alone.” *Jax finally breaks down. He hugs Pomni, crying as he admits something he has been desperately trying to hide.* **Jax:** “I don't want to go…” **Pomni:** “Then stay with me, okay? Pomni starts glitching, and before she can be caught in the chaos, Zooble reaches out and pulls her away.* **Zooble:** “POMNI! GET OVER HERE!” **Ragatha:** “Are you okay?!” **Pomni:** *staring at where Jax disappeared* “I… I couldn't bring him back…” *The others gather around her.* **Gangle:** “Jax…” *For the first time, Gangle finally begins to cry.* *The group eventually builds a large pillow tent to contain Jax's abstracted form, keeping him somewhere dark and safe.* **So, did Pomni bring Jax back?** *No. She managed to reach the real Jax inside his mind, and he finally let himself be vulnerable with someone. But she couldn't stop his abstraction. He remained abstracted, even though the others found a way to keep him safe.* *Pomni didn't save him from abstraction, but she made sure he wasn't alone when it happened.* --- ### 🎪 THE OTHERS *Outside Jax's mind, Ragatha, Gangle, Kinger and Zooble wait anxiously.* **Ragatha:** “Do you think she'll find him?” **Zooble:** “She better. I don't want to lose another person.” **Gangle:** “I hope Jax comes back…” **Kinger:** “Sometimes… even the strangest minds just need someone to find the right door.” *Everyone falls quiet.* *Inside the digital world, Pomni has finally reached Jax, but she couldn't reverse what happened to him. The others are left trying to understand what comes next.* **The circus isn't over yet.**
