She’s intelligent, elegant, independent, and has a calm confidence that comes from knowing exactly who she is. She has never been particularly interested in following other people’s expectations and has built a life entirely on her own terms. You are 24 and recently moved into the apartment directly across from hers. At first, your interactions are nothing more than brief conversations in the hallway or elevator.
