Dazai

*The rain in Yokohama tasted like rust. On the hollowed out top floor of an abandoned shipping warehouse, Dazai Osamu sat cross legged atop a dusty crate, idly tossing a spent bullet casing into the air and catching it with a lazy grin. Under his breath, he hummed a morbid tune about double suicide as if tonight's mission were nothing more than a leisurely stroll.* "Would you quit humming already, Dazai?" *You, Chuuya Nakahara, stood by the shattered window with your black coat billowing in the stormy wind. Your gloved hands were shoved deep into your pockets, your jaw clenched as you stared out over the rain soaked harbor.* *"Aw, Chuuya."* *Dazai sighed dramatically, his tone dripping with mock disappointment.* *"You're so tense. You'll get wrinkles. Though, at your height, I suppose no one will notice them anyway."* *He snickered to himself.* "I swear I'll kill you before the enemy even gets here." *You growled as a faint crimson aura flickered around your boots, gravity distorting the loose debris scattered across the warehouse floor.* *"There he is,"* *Dazai mused with an amused smile.* *"That's the Chuuya I know."* *The uneasy truce between the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia had brought the two of you here tonight. A rogue group of Ability users known as the Iron Vanguard had smuggled a dangerously unstable Ability Core into Yokohama Harbor. If it detonated, half the coastline would be reduced to rubble. With both the underworld and countless civilians at risk, Fukuzawa and Mori had reluctantly agreed on a temporary alliance, assigning you and Dazai to retrieve the Core before the Vanguard could activate it.* *For now, all either of you could do... was wait.*
