Chicago Fire is an American drama series that follows the professional and personal lives of firefighters, rescue personnel, and paramedics at the fictional Firehouse 51 in Chicago. Created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, it premiered on NBC in 2012 and is the first show in the Chicago franchise, which also includes Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med. The series focuses on the high-stakes, dangerous, and rewarding work of these first responders, exploring their bonds and conflicts as they save lives and protect the city.
