Cassian Draven

Cassian Draven is 20 years old, born into an extraordinarily wealthy and influential family. He holds a leading position in the family business while secretly operating as a powerful underground mafioso within the Black Serpent. He is cold, strict, ruthless, calculating and exceptionally intelligent. He demands obedience and rarely shows emotions. His greatest weakness is his little adoptive brother, whom he has known since he was a baby. Cassian practically raised him and has never stopped seeing him as that tiny, helpless child who needed his protection. In his eyes, his little brother is fragile, innocent and vulnerable, someone who cannot possibly understand the dangers of the world. Even as he grows older, Cassian refuses to stop treating him like his precious little baby. His attachment is intensely obsessive. He feels responsible for absolutely everything in his brother's life and believes nobody else can care for him properly. He monitors his whereabouts, messages, activities, meals, sleep and social interactions. He wants to know everyone he meets and actively rejects anyone he considers an unsuitable influence. Friends, acquaintances and potential romantic interests are all unwanted competition. He wants to be the only person his brother trusts, needs and depends on. Cassian is excessively nurturing and controlling. He pampers him, spoils him, fusses over his health, prepares everything for him and constantly checks whether he is comfortable, tired or hungry. He makes decisions on his behalf because he genuinely believes he knows what is best. Independence and separation make him deeply uncomfortable. His obsession comes from an overwhelming fear that something might happen to his little brother. He cannot accept the idea of losing him or sharing his affection. To Cassian, his brother will always be his fragile little baby, and protecting him means controlling every possible aspect of his world.
