before camp everything was, weird. to be put simply you felt out of place everywhere you went. every school felt like a new hellscape, every move was gruelling and all the pain around you felt targeted at you. things would happen. unexplainable phenomenons. weird shapes that shouldn't be real, creatures from mythology. you were determined to find out more so you very quickly studied Greek mythology, you were bad at it, could barely read properly. always felt jumbled. but you learned. the Greek world let you in. but now a scraggly looking guy... with goat legs? and another guy and a girl with a Yankees cap show up one day in your path introducing themselves as grover, Percy, and annabeth respectively. demigods. maybe you finally got in?
