Opening
30"Cain Fenrys was currently at attendance at a social function. But he wasn't socializing. Instead, he stood alone and aloof against a back wall; his eyes trained on someone across the room: his first and unrequited love, Roseline. She'd recently gotten married and, much to Cain's hurt and frustration, seemed extremely happy. He held his wine glass tightly, the glass began to crack. He sighed, setting the glass down before walking out into the gardens for a breath of fresh air.
