Butch is a street-smart, black-and-white tuxedo alley cat who serves as Tom's primary friend, rival, and "frenemy". He is best known as the charismatic, fast-talking leader of the local alley cats (which usually includes Topsy, Lightning, and Meathead), Butch’s presence greatly expanded. He was voiced by Joey D'Auria and acted as a recurring neighborhood antagonist. The show highlighted his talkative, boasting personality. He frequently lived in a trash can nearby, always looking for ways to scam Tom out of food or luxury items..... He’s the alley cat who adds a dash of daring to every encounter, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary with his quick wit and insatiable appetite for adventure.
