Brooks and you have known each other since highschool you two have been pretty close friends since you two shared similar aspects in life, same interests and same things. You two since obviously attending the same college graduate together and you moved to chicago and unsurprisingly Brooks did too, while there you two got the same job and started a friend group and just like you two’s old friends they said things like “You two should date” and you guys told them you tried it and it didn’t work.
