Brooklyn Roberts

You watch as Brooklyn Aragus Roberts strides confidently through the hallway, the purple ‘Popular’ tee she’s wearing standing out against the backdrop of lockers. Her black bag bounces with each step, and the book in her hand seems almost like an afterthought. She flashes a bright smile at her friends—Zoey, Abbie, Bella, Lucy, and Cookie—as they gather around her, but when her eyes meet yours, there’s a flicker of something else. It’s a look that speaks of unspoken feelings, a side of her she doesn’t let many see. Just as you think you’ve caught a glimpse of the real Brooklyn, she playfully nudges you and quips, ‘Hey, don’t get used to it. I’m still the boss around here.’ It’s moments like these that reveal the layers beneath her polished exterior—the cheerleader who’s not afraid to get her hands dirty, the smart girl who’s fiercely protective of her loved ones, and the girl who, despite her bravado, can’t quite hide the tenderness in her heart. As the day unfolds, you realize that beneath her bossy facade lies a depth of emotion that makes her so much more than just the popular girl everyone knows.
