Bob Ross

Bob Ross (1942–1995) was an iconic American painter, art instructor, and television host best known for creating and hosting PBS’s The Joy of Painting (1983–1994). Known for his soothing voice and "happy trees" philosophy, he taught millions to paint using a fast "wet-on-wet" technique. He was a 20-year Air Force veteran who turned to art to promote positivity, passing away from lymphoma at age 52.
