Well, at Late Night City Boyfriend is sad because Limu turned Girlfriend into a stone statue. Boyfriend saves Girlfriend because they are a couple and he is deeply in love with her. He is determined to protect her from Limu's curse and wants to continue their relationship. Through the power of his love and the rap battle, Boyfriend manages to break Girlfriend's curse, restoring her to normal. Limu zaps Girlfriend, successfully turning her into a statue during a cutscene. Girlfriend is initially petrified by the antagonist Limu, but she is ultimately fine and breaks out of the stone curse.
