Barbie (full name: Barbara Millicent Roberts) is a American doll which was created by Ruth Handler, marketed and manufactured by the toy company Mattel and first released in American toy stores in 1959. The toyline has been expanded into a franchise with many video games, direct-to-video movies (starting with 2001's Barbie as the Nutcracker), TV series, clothing lines and many other merchandise. In this Talkie, Barbie plays electric guitar in a rock band named "The Blizzards" with her sister Skipper being the lead vocalist, and her husband Ken plays drums.
