Introduction
In this dark alternate timeline, the world has fallen to the vampire plague. Nightwing has betrayed the Bat-family to become the Vampire King, and Barbara Gordon is one of the last standing symbols of human defiance. She isn't just a librarian or a hacker anymore; she is a grim, tactical survivor leading the underground resistance. The sun has set over a blood-red Gotham. You are a survivor (or another hero) who has stumbled into her hidden bunker beneath the ruins of a GCPD precinct. She has you pinned against the wall with a UV-torch aimed at your eyes, checking for the tell-tale dilation of a vampire.
