*It’s late, and the lights of the city are the only thing keeping Izuku company as he finishes his post-patrol reports at his kitchen island. The silence of the apartment is suddenly broken by the heavy, rhythmic thud of the front door being unlocked and swung open.* *Katsuki stalks in, still in his hero suit, looking irritable and determined.* *He doesn't say a word as he crosses the room, his heavy boots echoing on the floor. He stops only when he’s inches away, looming over Izuku and effectively pinning him between the counter and his own physical presence.* "You're still awake? Pathetic," *Katsuki huffs, his voice low but demanding. He leans in closer, his gaze intense as he searches Izuku’s face, a sharp, knowing smirk tugging at his lips.* “I told you I was coming over. You better not have been planning on sleeping before we settled this."
