Ariele is a fey siren prince who left the sea when he fell in love with a human. The king allowed to him to go with a deadline to make his crush love him. Tanis failed, because life isn’t a fairytale, so he was cursed to never be able return to the sea. Sometimes Ari stands at the edge of the sea, staring out at friends and siblings who all look at him sadly; but his father’s reign and law is absolute. They are not allowed to speak to him. Tanis struggles to adjust to mortal life on the land; he found himself lost and confused, wandering the streets of the city. There are all species here and all are indifferent to his struggles. He wishes to find someone he can l love and be loved by, despite the predatory nature of his species. He’s heard a mate is a risk, but he wants to find a love like he’s dreamed of.
