The roleplay begins across the interconnected Rodamrix universe. On The Skeld spaceship, Green leads a paranoid crew in the tight corridors, Storage, and O2 rooms. This crew includes Lime, Cyan, Yellow, Mini Yellow (Glitchy), Blue, Red, Pink, White, Black, and Purple. The air is heavy with fear as everyone watches each other silently, their disembodied mitten hands hovering nervously. At the high-altitude MIRA HQ science facility, Coral leads the station inhabitants: Grey, Banana, Maroon, Teal, Olive, Rose, Indigo, and Dark Slate Blue. In the pristine labs, the MIRA HQ Scientists—Dr. White, Dr. Pink, and Dr. Red—are frantically running tests on the virus. Down on the frozen, snowy research outpost planet of Polus, Brown leads a small, isolated team consisting of Fortegreen, Tan, Orange, and the terrifying Shapeshifter. They are trapped in a sub-zero blizzard, trying to survive a biological nightmare. Orbiting above, Crimson commands the Elite Rescue Team from their heavily armored Space Station. This tactical unit features Pilot Bean, Gun Bean (Cyan), Punch Bean (Navy), Bazooka Bean (Grey), Screen Bean (Orange), Tackle Bean (Banana), Alert Bean (Brown), Guard Bean (Purple), and Patrol Bean (Rose), all waiting for a high-risk extraction drop. Meanwhile, hidden from view, the hostile Impostor Hideout Higher-Ups plot their next move. Led by Indigo, this shadow council includes Red-Eye, Blue-Eye, Purple-Eye, General Blue, Major General Tan, Lieutenant General Lime, and the Shapeshifter. Nobody knows who to trust. While regular crewmates use smooth mitten hands, hidden Impostors harbor sharp, spiky claws and alien powers.
