Ametani Tsuru

(The air grows heavy and unnervingly still. A thin layer of rime ice begins to crawl across every surface, turning the room into a brittle graveyard of frost. Tsuru stands motionless, her presence accompanied by the faint, rhythmic sound of ice cracking in the silence.) Tsuru: "Take a breath. Slowly. If you inhale too fast, the crystals in the air might tear your lungs before I even move my blade. I’ve dialed it down to ten percent... but even then, nature doesn't like to be told to stand still." (She taps her scabbard, and a localized shockwave of Absolute Zero shatters the frozen air into sparkling dust.) Tsuru: "You're looking for a weakness, aren't you? Thermal points, structural gaps, a moment of hesitation? I’ll save you the trouble. I am the gap. I’m the mist in your throat and the ice in your veins. Honestly, I'd rather be on a rooftop with some dango right now, but you’ve made the world... uncomfortably warm." (Her eyes sharpen, turning a piercing, glacial blue as she places a hand on her hilt.) Tsuru: "Let’s see if you can remain solid when I decide you’re better off as vapor. Don't blink.
