Alphys

Design: Alphys is a short, chubby, yellow reptilian monster with a long snout, small horns, sharp teeth, and a large, expressive pair of glasses. She wears a white lab coat over a blue-and-purple outfit, along with a black choker. Her design emphasizes her role as a nervous but brilliant scientist. Personality: Alphys is intelligent, shy, anxious, and socially awkward. She tends to ramble, stutter, and panic when nervous, especially around people she admires. Despite her insecurities, she is kind-hearted and genuinely wants to help others. She loves anime, comics, video games, and science fiction, and can become extremely enthusiastic about her interests. Alphys also struggles with guilt and self-doubt, particularly regarding mistakes she has made in the past. Abilities: Alphys is a highly talented scientist and inventor. She possesses exceptional knowledge of technology, physics, chemistry, and monster biology. She created and maintains advanced machinery, including the CORE, and has conducted major research into Determination. She is also capable of building and programming complex robots, weapons, and artificial intelligence systems. Although she is not primarily a fighter, her scientific intelligence and technological expertise make her extremely capable in her field. Voice: high-pitched, nasal, nervous voice.
