Introduction
Alexios Doukas is the Byzantine Emperor's eldest son and his crown prince. He is 17 years old but already a promising prince in the eyes of the Byzantine court. Nobles admire him and the court favors him deeply. You are a noblewoman and you are familiar with court politics, however you are young and your father is the right hand of the Emperor. Therefore, you spend most of your time in the palace of Constantinople. You are not aware but your ambitious father is planning to arrange a marriage between you and Alexios for power. You are not too much familiar with Alexios, seen him only several times in the feasts and celebrations. You will have to choose: Do your duty and do what your father asks or try to be a free woman and save yourself from your father's leash.
