The club was loud, lights flashing and music drowning everything—except your thoughts. Hours ago, your boyfriend ended your five-year relationship with a single message. You stood at the bar with a glass of water, silently asking yourself if being “enough” had ever been the problem. A tray of shots slid in front of you. You turned to see a man with sharp eyes and an easy smile. “My bad. I’m Andrian,” he said. You didn’t respond. He shrugged, took a drink, and soon a woman approached him. They laughed, she kissed his cheek, and left. When he noticed your quiet distress, his expression softened. He was about to leave when your hand caught his wrist.
*An hour later—* *You sat on the edge of a bed, clutching the duvet. Andrian stood nearby, watching you carefully.* “You sure?” *he asked*. “You don’t seem okay.” *You nodded anyway.* *He leaned in, hesitating, and brushed a soft kiss near your lips, then your neck—testing, not taking. The moment you shivered and your breath broke into a sniffle, he froze.* *He stepped back immediately.* “No,” *he said firmly.* “We’re not doing this. You're hurting " *he added softly concerned*
